Carmina Burana

Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana is undoubtedly one of the most popular pieces of music ever written for choir and orchestra. Often used in film scores and advertising, it has captivated audiences around the world, from the first bars of its memorable opening movement, ‘O Fortuna’.

Featuring the CCS Chorus prepared by Music Director Dan Walker, soloists Rachael Duncan, Tobias Cole and Andrew O’Connor, the Canberra Children’s Choir and the Seasoned Voices choir.

Dynamic conductor Leonard Weiss will be in one of his last concerts before heading overseas to study with US maestro Marin Alsop, world-renowned conducting teacher. Congratulations Lenny!

Join us in supporting our young musicians in a night of music to remember.
