Members

Welcome!

We hope you enjoy your membership of the Canberra Choral Society.

We aim to provide everyone with the opportunity to enjoy singing in a premier community choir, whilst developing their musicianship and learning their scores.

We ask choristers to do their bit to be ready for each rehearsal by learning their part at home using the learning resources, and arriving on time.

To achieve a high performance standard, we ask that during rehearsals choristers behave in a professional manner, concentrating on the scores and the conductor at all times, and treating other choristers with courtesy and respect.

Our rehearsal break is a great opportunity for conversation, to catch up with friends and introduce yourself to new choristers and make them feel welcome.

Attendance rolls

Please mark off your name on the roll each week. If you are unable to attend a rehearsal or will be absent for a few weeks, please advise Sandra Gray.

Contact details

If your contact details change, and in particular your email address, please advise Judy Evans.

Scores

For the issue and return of music scores, please see Doris Stokes. There is generally a charge for each score which is paid at the first rehearsal for each concert.

Order a Name Badge

You may need a new name badge or simply have lost your previous one, so please place an order here!

Send an email to Lyn with your name as you would like it to appear on the badge.  Use of both first and last name is recommended and makes it easier for other choir members to learn your name.

Badges are $12 each and payment will be taken in cash once the order has arrived.

Contact your Committee

An important part of the CCS Committee's job is to listen to and consider choir members' suggestions and concerns.

If you have any questions about any aspect of the choir membership, guest choristers, artistic direction or committee decisions, please get in contact with any member of the Committee. See who we are at Who's Who in CCS.
