CCS is being dangerous with Handel in The Vow

The Vow

With less than a week until Tobias Cole and his new company present The Vow (based on Handel’s Jephtha). What drew him to Handel’s music?

“I was struck by the harmonies changing in more dangerous ways than in Mozart,” Cole says. … I remember picking up an opera I’d never heard of and thinking: ‘Wow, there’s so much yet to learn! This is exciting! This guy is dangerous!’ (Canberra Times article.)

A flawed leader (Andrew Goodwin), a protective wife (Christina Wilson), a loyal daughter (Jacqueline Porter) and a devoted admirer (Tobias Cole).
