On Sunday 4th September, Canberra Choral Society will exploit the unique acoustic qualities of the High Court’s soaring spaces on Sunday September 4 in Voices in Space, a program of a capella music ranging from the 16th Century to the 20th Century, from Gibbons, Byrd and Bach to Bruckner, Stanford and Vaughan Williams. Audience members will have the opportunity to discover the wonders of singing in this vibrant space with works including excerpts from Bach’s St Matthew Passion, Byrd’s Mass for Five Voices, as well as Bruckner’s Locus Iste, and music by Purcell and John Dowland.
