Our next two concerts are going to be very popular, so we’ve put the tickets on sale early so that you don’t miss out.
Great Performances in the Albert Hall – the second twenty-five years on Sunday 13 July will be a beautiful afternoon celebrating the history of Canberra’s first performance venue. Featuring the CCS Chorus and guest artists including Louise Page, Christopher Bogg and the Turner Trebles, this will be a musical mosaic of rousing choruses, spellbinding solos and a touch of the unexpected, interwoven with stories of the original great performers. Our 2013 concert in this series sold out, so snap up your tickets through Trybooking.
Then on Saturday 20 September we return to the Canberra Playhouse for the Australian premiere (after only 267 years!) of Handel’s Alexander Balus. A beautiful venue, a moving oratorio, and a great cast featuring our own Artistic Director (and counter-tenor extraordinaire) Tobias Cole, and one of our favourite tenors, Christopher Saunders. Our 2013 concert in this series was a sellout, and tickets for Alexander Balus are already flying out the Canberra Ticketing door. Use the direct link below to buy your tickets online.
Don’t leave it too late!
