From Carmina Burana to Messiah…

Well, we’ve just had a blast performing the awesome Carmina Burana with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra for two consecutive nights to sellout houses at Llewellyn Hall. What a way to wrap up the month! Thanks to all our guest choristers from Llewellyn Choir and all around Canberra who joined us on this wonderful Come and Sing journey.

We now start preparing our next concert: Handel’s Messiah on Saturday 14 December. Guest conductor Graham Abbott, who led our thrilling performance of Haydn’s Creation a year ago, returns for what will undoubtedly be a spectacular night. We are again delighted to give Canberra audiences the chance to hear our own Artistic Director Tobias Cole, who will be singing the Alto solos, along with the wonderful Penelope Mills (soprano), Robert Macfarlane (tenor) and Andrew Collis (bass). With another massed choir of guest choristers, and the innovative presentation that audiences are coming to expect from CCS, you’ll definitely want to come and Experience the drama!

Tickets are on sale through Ticketek – get in quick for the best seats!
