Don’t miss your chance to sing ‘O Fortuna’ with the CSO!

If you want to be up on stage to sing the magnificent Carmina Burana, featuring one of the most recognised (and thrilling!) pieces of classical music in popular culture, ‘O Fortuna’, you’d better act quickly because the registration deadline is fast approaching.

Llewellyn Series 13.4 - Carmina Burana

Llewellyn Series 13.4 – A centenary gift to Canberra from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany … and they need you to help perform it!

It’s not often you get to be part of a CSO concert – especially in their grand finale subscription concert for the Canberra Centenary, conducted by their Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Nicholas Milton – so don’t miss this special opportunity!

The choir will be prepared by CCS Artistic Director Tobias Cole, who is well known for his commitment to singing, his ability to inspire choirs to new heights, and his wonderful counter-tenor voice. Ian Warden even named Tobias his ‘Canberran of the Year‘ in 2012 (while also saying very nice things about CSO concerts)!

To sing in Carmina Burana you must be  a competent reader of music, able to attend all rehearsals, and able to perform in both concerts on 30 and 31 October. Click for full details.
