Constitution and AGM
If you would like to have a copy of the Constitution, please ask the Secretary for a printed copy or see our online copy. The Annual General Meeting is held as early as possible after the start of rehearsals for the new calendar year
Selling tickets
The Society’s main source of income is ticket sales and our key ticket sellers are you, our members! For each concert, please take an envelope of tickets and do your utmost to sell as many as possible. If we could all sell 10 tickets, we would fill Llewellyn Hall to capacity every time. Keep a list of your regulars, follow them up and be on the lookout for potential new ‘customers’ at work, in any clubs you belong to, in your neighbourhood, etc.
Tax-deductible donations
Genuine donations to the Canberra Choral Society are tax deductible. Please ask the Treasurer for further details.
Tea/ coffee break
At rehearsals, we have a 15 minute break at about 9.00pm. Tea, coffee and Milo are served for a small charge of 20 cents to cover costs. The names of people on the tea roster for the night are announced at about 8.50pm.
